Meeting at the former Commonwealth Club our chapter was set up in by 4 like-minded individuals in 2009 with the motto Common Wealth - Common Vision to help and support each other with businesses development. Quickly outgrowing the Commonwealth Club, we moved first to Charring Cross and finally to our current venue at the Caledonian Club, Belgravia.
Our vision for Commonwealth in 2017 is to take our chapter from 26 to 30 members across 5 key sectors of business, Property, Creative & Marketing, Finance, Business Services, Lifestyle and Estate Planning. Providing each member with a platform and contact sphere in which to grow and develop their business, partnerships, products and services.
We are actively seeking to recruit like-minded professionals to join our chapter. With over 60% of our members being long-term members that share our vision and understand the powerful benefits of referral networking we are very thorough in our selection process as we build up each business sector and grow the chapter.
What makes BNI special is that each member draws on their personal and professional networks to generate business for each other. It’s not the people around the table you’ll be marketing to, but the people they know. It’s a bit like having your own dedicated sales team.
What is BNI?
BNI is currently the most successful organisation of its type in the world with over 4,700 chapters in the UK and worldwide. Last year, our members passed nearly 6 million referrals, generating over £1.75 billion worth of business.
Our chapters own members passed over 1000 referrals in 2016, generating over £1.5 million worth of business.
Make makes it special
A unique aspect of BNI is that we only allow one person per profession within each chapter. So, if you join, your competitors will in effect be ‘locked out’ of all the great business generated for you - and right now our chapter is seeking someone from your profession to refer all this business to.
Referral marketing adds up
Referral or ‘Word of mouth’ marketing is a great way to generate new business. Why not come and see how your business could benefit?
